Leaping Calf Coffee and Bakehouse is an extension of the Ministry of Canyon Heights Church. We have created the Leaping Calf as a "third space" where church and community can overlap. Church events have a modern well equipped space and the community can be welcomed and served as well.

We sell light meals, snacks and beverages to the community in the Café. This provides a point of contact between the church and the community. It provides a community gathering place and also provides for the possibility of small community events hosted in this space. Proceeds from Leaping Calf operations go to fund Missions and Missional events and activities.

The name comes from the Bible. Malachi 4:2 says "But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall." The name "Leaping Calf" simply conveys "joy in God.
